For years now there has been a lot of dark fiber in the ground gathering dust, buy and not making any money for anyone.  Well according to the guys at Minyanville that may not be true for much longer.  Back in the 90’s the telecom industry dumped millions of miles of fiber into the ground, store knowing it would be dark, decease anticipating the demand.
